Blackpool Victoria Hospital

Whinney Heys Rd, Blackpool FY3 8NR, UK – 01253 300000

This is a lovely hospital very modern and up to date. The main entrance is very impressive. There are plenty of shops and a very nice restaurant. The menu is very good and the quality of the food is exelent. Price wise it is a little expensive but that is only to be expected. Obviously there are exelent facilities and acsses for disabled. There is a large multi story car park on the doorstep, so parking is not an issue. I found the staff there to be very pleasant and helpful, Although I was approached by a fluorescent jacketed job's worth who asked me to stop taking photographs ha ha turned out to be a car park attendant

I was recently admitted to the Victoria Hospital with a serious sepsis pneumonia condition, I can`t praise the staff, nurses, doctors and specialists that dealt with me enough, they were brilliant right from the beginning, all the staff were very busy but i always felt that they were doing their very very best to help me, i felt very comfortable that i was in the very best place, I can`t thank the nurses, doctors and the specialists that dealt with me. A big thankyou to the paramedics that came to my house ( Within 15 minutes) Can`t thank you all enough, soon after getting home i received my followup appointments to attend the hospital later on, their is a real proffesional and caring commitment that couldn`t be improved on. A Big Thank you to all the staff and doctors on Ward 7 where i spent most of my time, I am on the mend now thanks to you all, absolutely brilliant. Total dedication received from all the staff that helped me, I can`t thank you enough. All the very best and carry on the dedicated brilliant work that you are doing, Also a big thank you to the catering staff who provided nice meals and drinks through out the day, All the staff were so friendly and helpful. +++++ Five Star Treatment. Just to add i went for a check up the other day, everything going along nicely, Again all the staff and the specialist doctor i saw were absolutely brilliant, I am so impressed with the treatment that i have received that words cannot fully express how satisfied i am after a serious illness, again +++++ and carry on the first class work and care that you are doing, very well done to all the staff.

South Shore Primary Care Centre

Lytham Rd, Blackpool FY4 1TJ, UK – 01253 953001

Nice modern building with friendly and helpful staff. I find supporting minds extremely good and highly recommend them. For other people there are several different surgery's all under one roof with a chemist on the ground floor. Toilets and a lift are available for those in need. Parking spaces are limited, however there doesn't seem to be parking restrictions on neighbouring streets. That said allow extra time to find somewhere to park.

i had a bone graft done here and brilliant staff each and every one of them.i was really nervous and they were great.cant thank them enough

Local hospitals - community hospitals and hospitals with A&E departments for FY4 1HG.

The new NHS website below is very well worth a look. Hospitals are not only listed but evaluated. I certainly know which ones I would go to! At the very least you will know what questions to ask if you are sent to one which has not entered its data. Good luck!
